Women's Sober Living

Everyone faces challenges when trying to stay sober and remain clean post-rehab, but women can face some additional difficulties as they prepare for life back home in Austin. Women are more likely to be caring for children, and staying clean in the face of those challenges can be difficult. Women may also be facing issues with spousal abuse, stalking and other criminal activity aimed in their direction, giving them one more thing to worry about as they leave the treatment facility and begin to build on the skills they have learned in rehab.

At Resurgence, we offer a number of support systems designed for women, so they can leave our treatment facility with the confidence they need to build better lives for themselves and their families. Sober living provides a vital bridge to the future, one that connects the intense course of rehab you began with and the happy and successful life you want to live when you return back home to Austin. If you would like to learn more about how sober living can help you, we invite you to contact us today.

Men's Sober Living

Like women, men face some unique challenges as they struggle to stay clean after a course in rehab. Many men who have struggled with substance abuse have failed at treatment before, with each failed attempt at getting better creating higher and higher barriers to success.

Men may also be more likely to have criminal records as a result of their substance use disorder, and that can leave them struggling with simple things like finding safe and affordable housing or landing a job after rehab. At Resurgence, we can assist men with all of these issues, building a bridge from the dangers of drug addiction to a better life that includes gainful employment, great housing, community support, and a host of other benefits.
