Drug Rehab that Allows You To Still Go to Work & School

There are many options available through the Resurgence outpatient programs that will allow you to go to work and school during rehab.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program gives the flexibility of maintaining a normal daily routine, while still receiving group and individual therapy. This program is most beneficial for those who have a stable home and a solid social support network, as there is a lot of freedom. The IOP encourages group therapies, where opportunities for positive, sober friendships can occur.

Our Virtual Intensive Outpatient program is for people who cannot remain in residential treatment, and live too far away from the treatment center to physically attend groups. Meetings and therapy take place through a telehealth platform online. Virtual meetings and therapy will help keep you on track while you attend to your responsibilities at home. This option is also beneficial to those with a stable home environment, with family or friends able to provide positive support.

A more structured option is a sober living home. This is an excellent option for those who have completed residential treatment and want a more structured home environment as they return to their lives. Sober homes are all different, with different rules, but there are many where residents are free to come and go to work or school, as long as they adhere to rules such as drug tests, curfews, and house chores.

What to Expect During Outpatient Rehab

Outpatient rehab is tailored to the individual needs of each patient. The best candidate for an outpatient program is somebody who is no longer experiencing physical withdrawal symptoms and has already completed an inpatient rehabilitation program. Some long-term, chronic addictions will require long-term rehab within the facility before moving to an outpatient program.

Each treatment program will consist of an assessment, professional interventions, education, group sessions, therapy, and up to seven days a week of outpatient care, where you can visit any Resurgence center to attend our evidence-based support groups like SMART Recovery, or a traditional 12-Step program, or for a scheduled therapy session. We have a robust alumni network, with reunions and outings, that will help people remain positive and supported long after completing treatment.

How Long Does Outpatient Rehab Last With Resurgence?

Drug addiction does not end once you walk out the door of an inpatient rehab program. With Resurgence, outpatient rehab can take as long as you need. Our main goal is to offer continued support in as many ways as possible, through group sessions, therapy appointments, and other voluntary alumni events like barbecues, meetings, and outings, so you always have somebody to reach out to.
